*This Is Tanks Country!* Welcome the new and improved Gas Tank Hockey website. With such a storied past, the Tanks will once again look to another successful season with this years biggest goal being trying to play every game. It will be a stretch, but with some new recruits anything is possible. Throughout the year, Dickie Dunn will be covering the team on the road and at home so look for his article titled "Coach's Corner" after each tournament for a recap of the games that were, the wins that could've been and the goals that never scored. Look for the 2006-2007 Season Preview to be hitting newstands in the very near future for all the inside looks and details on the 2006-2007 Gas Tanks.

5th year starting goalie Scott Woods, fresh off of 4-8-1 record and a 3.1 goals against average will be counted on again this season to provide heroics when the Tanks need it most. As the defense has been shored up on the back end, the offense which was quiet last season will need to step it up if the Tanks will have any chance of competing this season. Head coach Pat Fitzgerald had this to say: "what can I say about last season? I don't have a doghouse and if I did most of the players on the team would be in it! The guys have always used their savy in the past by buying me drinks at the bar and making me forget which tournament we were in but this year will be different. There will be ground rules to follow and those who don't follow them will pay the ultimate price of buying everyone pints at the bar!" as he said from the $500/hand Black Jack Table at the Palms in Las Vegas.
